WAUSA — The Wausa Lady Vikings picked up their second straight win, beating Winside by eight points at home. The Lady Vikings outscored Winside 11-0 in the fourth quarter. Abbi Hegge scored 12 points to lead the Vikings. Shelby Lienemann finished with 12 points to lead Winside.

State-rated Vikings just keep on winning

WAUSA — The Wausa Vikings kept steam-rolling foes last week. The state-rated Vikings improved to 12-4 with big wins over Newcastle, Allen and Winside last week. The Vikes started the week off with a  huge 73-23 win over Newcastle. Wausa then beat Allen 61-23 on Thursday night.

RANDOLPH — The Cardinals improved to 10-3 on the year with a pair of big wins last week. The Cards easily doubled up NENAC foe Neligh-Oakdale, 56-25 Friday, then topped Wakefield 39-20 in a defensive battle on Saturday. Against Neligh, Grant Anderson nailed yet another double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
