WAYNE — Last week, the Laurel-Concord/Coleridge boys track team traveled to Wayne State College for their annual High School Outdoor Track Invitational.
Overall the Bears placed third, but were able to take home 18 medals.

Seniors Isaac Haahr and Trevor Hefner, along with junior Mitch Heikes led the individual scorers.
Haahr took third in the pole vault and second in both the 1600 and 3200-meter runs.
Hefner took top honors in shot put with a toss of 44ft. 1.5in and scored a fourth-place medal in the Discus.
Heikes continued his solid performance as a sprinter with a 11.60 win in the 100-meter dash and a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash.
Heikes also ran a leg in the silver medal winning 4×100 meter relay team, along with seniors Ross Lage, Jon Jacot, and sophomore Austin Roach.
