Cedar athletes pick up post-season honors
HARTINGTON – Cedar Catholic senior running back Keenan Sudbeck was named this week as a member of the Huskerland Prep Report First Team All State Team.
The weekly high school sports magazine noted that the 5-8, 180-pound senior had an exceptional year after coming back from a devestating injury that wiped out most of his junior season. He garnered 1,341 yards this season and picked up 24 touchdowns, which is the fourth-best scoring total in Class C2 this season.
Several Cedar Catholic football players picked up belated post-season honors.
Zach Wuebben, Andrew Lorenz, Kyle Klug, Keenan Sudbeck, Logan Weinandt, and Tyler Loberg all earned Omaha World-Herald All State Honorable Mention status. The players were inadvertantly left off the original All State list.
