Softball teams take on Osmond, Randolph
HARTINGTON — The Hartingon 14 and under team earned a split during recent action.
On June 19, Hartington dropped a 12-11 decision to Osmond.
Kayla Loberg went 2-3 to pace the team at the plate.
Jillian Jueden and Taylor Lammers fared well with 1-2 performances. Lammers’s hit was a triple.
Hartington took on Randolph on June 21, winning 10-9.
Sophie Noecker, Jillian Jueden, and Taylor Lammers all went 2-4 at the plate.
Hartington was down by one going into the last inning, but Kayla Loberg hit a two RBI single with two outs to win it. Lammers got the win on the mound.
The Hartington 18s lost 11-10 to Osmond on June 19.
Michaela Dendinger went 2-4 at the plate. Sara Pinkelman had a good showing on the mound with eight strikeouts, but Osmond made some great defensive plays in the last inning to keep Hartington from scoring.
